🗓️ Itinerary
Day 1: Muscat Arrival
Upon arrival at Muscat International Airport, transfer to your hotel after clearing immigration and collecting your luggage.
Day 2: Muscat – City Tour
After Breakfast, take the morning for yourself before departing in the Afternoon (14:00 hrs): Photo stop at Al Alam Palace (Sultan's residence), surrounded by 17th-century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum showcasing Omani cultural artifacts. Enjoy a 2-hour sunset boat tour from Muscat port. Explore Mutrah fishing port & souk with its oriental atmosphere. Return to hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 3: Muscat – Opera – Mosque – Bait Al Ghassham – Nakhl (~250 km)
Breakfast. 09:00 AM departure: Photo stop at Royal Opera House, Arabian Peninsula's first opera palace. Visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an architectural masterpiece. Head to Batinah region's Barka fish market. Explore Bait Al Ghassham Museum in an ancient Omani castle. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Nakhl village: visit 16th-century Nakhl Fort & relax at Ain Thowara hot springs. Return to Muscat. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 4: Muscat – Bimah Sinkhole – Wadi Tiwi – Sur – Ras Al Jinz (300 km)
Breakfast, then depart for: Bimah Sinkhole: Meteorite-formed turquoise lake. Wadi Tiwi: Dramatic gorge with date/banana plantations. Lunch at local restaurant. Sur: Traditional dhow factory visit & Ajya Lighthouse photo stop. Evening: Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve to witness green turtle nesting (post-dinner). Overnight in Sur. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Ras Al Hadd – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands (280 km)
Breakfast, then: Wadi Bani Khalid: Swim in crystal-clear pools amid date plantations. Lunch at local restaurant. Wahiba Sands: Dune adventure, desert sunset with Arabic coffee, Bedouin dinner & camp overnight. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Wahiba Sands – Sinaw Market – Zukait – Jabal Akhdar (330 km)
Breakfast, then: Sinaw Market (Thursdays): Bedouin livestock & handicraft trading. Zukait Village: Visit Bait Al Zukyt (oldest house with unique Omani construction). Lunch with local family. Ascend to Jabal Akhdar (Green Mountain) for terraced gardens & village walking tour. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7: Jabal Akhdar – Nizwa – Jabreen Castle (150 km)
Breakfast, then: Nizwa (Oman's historic capital): Fort, livestock market, souq with silverwork & spices. Lunch at local restaurant. Jabreen Castle: 17th-century masterpiece with carvings & painted ceilings. Photo stop at Bahla Fort. Return to Nizwa. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 8: Nizwa – Misfat – Agricultural Tour – Bait Al Safah – Muscat (160 km)
Breakfast, then: Misfat Al Abriyeen: Picturesque mountain village. Agricultural tour: Learn Omani farming, try daily chores, see seasonal fruits. Lunch at Misfat House. Bait Al Safah: 300-year-old home with live craft demos (flour milling, pancakes), Omani coffee & dates. Return to Muscat. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 9: Muscat Departure
After Breakfast (if time permits) transfer from your hotel to the airport for departure
